Concept identity for an open technology hacking+modding workshop. Based on the Israeli Garage Geeks workshop, where hi-tech workers, teenagers and students collaborate on several exciting projects.

The logotype's typography re-wraps on each piece using a unique behavior found in Adobe Illustrator: when the user uses the Selection Tool to rotate a text box, only the box rotates and the type re-wraps inside it.

This behavior is leveraged to recreate the informal and open spirit of the workshop within the design.

The unique spirit of the workshop often blends activities such as barbecuing with more serious tech stuff, like "linux parties" or meetings with senior Google executives.
